Awesome Productions & Management Launches The Awesome Cup, Names Conor Dunnette Inaugural Recipient

TORONTO, ON — December, 2025 — Awesome Productions & Management (APM) has launched The Awesome Cup, a new annual award honoring rising talent in The Remix Project’s Business Program, and named Conor Dunnette its first recipient.

The Awesome Cup recognizes a Business Program student who has shown the vision, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit that will define the next generation of music business leadership. Dunnette was selected for his early work managing alt-rap artist Kyle Wildfern and the duo Garçons, building range across distinct corners of the music landscape while still developing his craft.

“Our mantra has always been simple: help change lives for the better,” said Asim Awesome Awan, founder of Awesome Productions & Management. “Conor has already shown the kind of excellence and drive we believe will shape this industry’s next generation, and we’re proud to be the ones to recognize it first.”

APM’s Jermayne Clayton, President of the Management Division, presented the inaugural award. “Conor’s instinct for artist management already shows in the range of what he’s built,” said Clayton. “The Awesome Cup is about catching talent like his early and staying in it for the long run.”

As part of the honor, Dunnette will receive ongoing mentorship from APM as he builds his career in artist management. The Awesome Cup will be presented annually to a standout Business Program student, continuing APM’s 25-year commitment, marked in 2026, to developing the next generation of Canadian and international music talent.
